About the Club

Our Goal
The Philosophy Club aims to introduce philosophy to the Rutgers undergraduate body. Our meetings are especially designed to engage people who have no prior knowledge of the subject. It is a great place to start if you are unsure about what to major in or simply want to play with some fascinating ideas in philosophy. Our small discussion-oriented lecture series allow you to get a feel for what an upper level philosophy course is like without all the stress.

What We Do
The Philosophy Club invites Rutgers' world-class faculty members to present their cutting-edge researches during our lecture series. More information on the schedule and speakers can be found here. In addition to the presentations, we also hold paper discussions and movie nights. Please do join us to make friends and enjoy free pizza!
